The rod fished very nicely but there were no fish caught, I guess sometimes the fish just won't play ball. in the afternoon I took a walk along the Boag but it too was running high and coloured so instead of fishing I took sometime to enjoy the wildlife. I sat at one of my favorite pools and watched the olives dancing before heading up the road to my mothers for dinner.
I really hope the next time I'm on the Almond the conditions are better, last season was dogged by rain and I don't want another season full of missed opportunities.
